As a response to the poor reputation of sliding hardware, Italian—Luigi De Faveri established the ECLISSE company with a mission to provide a quality, revolutionary product for sliding door solutions that often is the ideal solution for a project. Today ECLISSE is a leading brand in the production of frames for sliding pocket doors and frames for flush and splayed hinged doors, it can produce 1,500 frames per day and has more than 30 representative agencies and 2,000 distributors in Italy, 10 subsidiary companies and more than 20 distributors around the world.

Fully retractable running tracks
Proper door maintenance requires access to the full track, in order to accomplish this with normal systems, the wall may need removed or have a panel planned in advance for servicing. Eclisse systems are simply removed and reinstalled in one easy action.

Eclisse pocket framing is designed to prevent flexing between the frame and the stud wall. Anti-flexion dove-tail shaped pre-drilled reinforcing horizontal bars designed not to bend when fixing the plasterboard layers.
Self-centering door guide
A frame mounted centered floor guide reduces the need to puncture the flooring, avoid thick carpeting to reach into substantial material and guarantees the guide is centered which prevents damage to the door surface.

Eclisse pocket door systems for stud walls feature 8 or 10 x 0.7 mm thick reinforcing horizontal bars of galvanized sheet steel with an inverted swallowtail-shaped profile to ensure excellent resistance to lateral pressure. The bars are predrilled so that the drywall sheets in the stud wall can be attached easily.
Drywall meets frame
The Eclisse frame system is designed to accomodate a single or double layer of drywall. An additional layer of drywall can be applied without altering the thickness of the finished wall. The wall will be even more solid and insulated.
Certified runner
Eclisse offers a 220 and 330 lb sliding carriage, both tested by CSI, IMQ group: responding perfectly after 100,000 opening-closing cycles.
This is equivalent to approx. 30 years (UNI EN 1670).
Using ball bearings the Eclisse wheel design features a remarkably quiet and satisfyingly smooth function.
LUCE System
Luce is the Italian word for light. Electricians have Eclisse to thank for the concept of wiring a wall for an outlet or light switch where a pocket is planned.
No longer limited, the wire easily passes through the frame system.
