What makes ECLISSE frame kits different?

ECLISSE frame kits offer features extractable tracks to prevent the need to break drywall to remove the track, also beneficial for installations, install doors after drywalling (keeps the track clear of dust and debris to ensure function.)

Frame is all galvanized steel : prevents warping no need for wood construction which saves time and costs during installation. Eliminate measuring errors and irregular bowed or knotty wood.

**Durethan® is a brand of high-performance engineering plastics, primarily Polyamide 6 (PA6) and Polyamide 66 (PA66), manufactured by Envalior (formerly part of Lanxess), known for its exceptional mechanical strength, heat resistance, stiffness, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for demanding automotive, industrial, and electronic components. It comes in various grades, often reinforced with glass fibers (like BKV30) or modified for specific properties such as flame retardancy (FR) or transparency, offering solutions for connectors, under-the-hood parts, and packaging.

Pocket doors on a wall with a switch or outlet

Luce model is a frame that is designed to accommodate wall mounted lights, light switches, outlets, thermostats, etc. in the same wall where the frame is placed. Specify 2x6 wall frame kit with Luce Kit, one kit per electrical element : up to two per frame kit (1 on each side).

Fun Fact : Since ECLISSE opened in 1989 no runners have had to be replaced for “natural use” that’s how strong the runners are.

Will moisture affect the frame?

ECLISSE has created a special pre-painted frame with three layers of protection (zinc plating, polyester and epoxy paints), designed for environments where there is high humidity, such as bathrooms, saunas or pools. This model has also been scientifically tested to evaluate its corrosion resistance. It was placed for 240 hours in a salt mist chamber (humidity 95% and 5% Nacl) results showed no affect, with minimum oxidation.

Can I retro fit accessories?

ECLISSE frame kits come with a patented removable track so you can remove the track at any time without breaking drywall to change out the door or to install any of the add-on accessories such as the ECLISSE BIAS (soft-closer) and ECLISSE BIAS DS (soft-open/soft-close).

Can these frame kits be installed in wood stud walls?

Yes, ECLISSE frame kits may be installed in either wood or metal stud walls, additionally 5/8" or 1/2" drywall are suitable.

What is the maximum door weight?

The standard runner kit accommodates up to 220lbs. A heavy duty runner kit is available to accommodate up to 330lbs. (Heavy duty runner kit should not be used on doors at or below 220Lbs.)

What door material is suitable with these frame kits?

2x4 wall frame kits, maximum door thickness of 1-3/4"

2x6 wall frame kits maximum door thickness up to 2-1/2"

Frameless Glass : a thickness of 3/8" up to 5/8" Don’t forget either the Compression Clamps or Brackets when frameless glass is planned.

Can the door be adjusted within the jamb?

Yes, door stops within the top track are adjustable to customize how far the door protrudes into the opening, in the closed position how deep the door reaches into the pocket.

Frame dimensions

ECLISSE frame kits steel gauge is 0.7mm with the exception of the vertical bars which are 1.2mm.
